Natural treatment for urinary tract infection
- Yes, baking soda and cranberry juice are good for urinary tract infection. Drink cranberry juice or buy some cranberry herbal supplements from any drug store. Add 1 tsp of baking soda in 1 glass of water and drink it for relief from burning sensation and pain. Use either one of these remedies otherwise they will cancel each other’s effects.
- Soak in a bath tub in which some apple cider vinegar has been added.
- Consume 2 capsules of Oregon grape root, goldenseal or Ethinacea 3 times a day.
- If your condition becomes severe then have ½ tsp of tincture every hour.
- Wear lose and comfortable cotton underwear and nightwear. If possible then sleep without your under pants at nights. Immediately change your panties the moment you feel wetness or itching. Wash your undergarments daily and dry them in sunlight.
- Wash your vaginal area with mild antibacterial soap and warm water.
- Never scratch your nails or rub the genital area if itching persists. Apply some over the counter antibacterial cream. Wash every time after passing urine.
- Drink at least 1 liter of water and never suppress the urge to drink water or urinate.
- After intercourse, urinate when your bladder is full and clean the genital area.
