Natural remedies for hair bump
- Rub a little castor oil, vitamin E oil or iodine on the hair bump and tape it with a band aid.
- If it has occurred due to shaving then do not shave too close to the area. Apply foaming gel liberally before shaving. Immediately after shaving use some astringent over the area and after some time moisturize it properly.
- Apply some zinc cream, apple cider vinegar or Vaseline petroleum jelly to it once or twice a day.
- Give a linear massage around it with olive or almond oil for 5 to 7 minutes daily.
- Let the area get aired and expose it to sunlight.
- Crush two aspirin tablets, add 3 drops of glycerin and mix this with ¼th cup of water. With a cotton ball apply it to the hair bump 2 or 3 times everyday. You can also apply aspirin solution, leave it for sometime and then wash it with lukewarm water.
- You can also use chamomile oil, tea tree oil, Aloe Vera gel or lavender oil to the bumps 3 to 4 times daily.
- Drink lots of water for keeping the skin hydrated.
- Rest the area as much as you can and try not to put pressure on the bumps.
- Do not prick it with your fingers and cover with a band aid at night. Wear lose comfortable clothes to avoid hurting the bumps.
