- Exfoliate your skin gently with a scrub twice a day to remove the dead skin but do not overdo do it as it may bruise or burn your skin. Use skin toner or rose water for your skin after washing it. This gives a glow and cools the skin.
- Apply a homemade paste to your face. Take one tablespoon of sandalwood powder, one pinch of turmeric powder, 5 drops of honey, one drop of glycerin and one drop of lemon juice. Mix them thoroughly and apply all over your face and neck area. You can either put cucumber slices on your eyes or cover them with cotton balls dipped in rosewater. Let the pack dry and wash it away with cold water. Pat your face and let your skin breathe. If your skin is on the drier side, use less of sandalwood powder and add one teaspoon of curd.
- Apply the cream of the milk directly on your face. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off.
- Apply glycerin to your lips for softness.
