If you have had some sort of outbreak of the skin and you do not know the reason, the first thing you must do is get yourself medically examined to determine why this has happened. Usually, it is easy enough to figure out the reason for breaking out. It could be allergies to some sort of food, medication, new material or new cosmetic you may have used in the recent past. You must go over this list and determine what it is, and try to eliminate its use for a while to see if that works. If so, your problem is more easily taken care of than most others. If this is not the case, a medical examination will reveal the reason for your breakouts. Sometimes, it can be acne which is so badly aggravated that it has broken out. In this case, you would have to follow a proper three step method of cleansing, toning and moisturizing your skin every night before bedtime to control the break out. You would also have to exfoliate your skin at least once a week if you are suffering from such rampant acne.
Although it is quite uncommon, sometimes hives can also be so badly aggravated that they may blister and ooze. This would typically happen if you have neglected them or if you have kept them covered for too long. Hives cannot really be kept covered as this only worsens them. In this case, you will need to soothe and cool your hives. One of the most effective remedies for this is to rub calamine lotion on them. Alternately, you can also make a paste like mix of chilled milk and powdered oatmeal and apply this in patches to the area. This will reduce the itching considerably. You can wash it even as it begins to dry.
