If the opening of the valves is constricted, the blood finds it difficult to pass through, causing a buildup of pressure in the chambers that exerts force on the heart and the blood vessels. However, if the valves are loose, they may leak blood back into the chamber, therefore carrying less blood to the organs where the blood is actually needed.
Heart Failure - When the heart does not remain span enough to be able to pump through enough blood, it fails to perform its functions properly and this is termed as heart failure. The symptoms are a lot like heart valve disease. A person experiences dizziness, palpitations, fatigue, nausea, and chest pains.
