Avoid douching. One of the first things a woman does when she notices a bad vaginal odor, is to start washing the area frequently. This actually makes the problem worse as it disturbs the natural bacteria present in the vagina. Yogurt is among the best natural remedies for vaginal odor. You could just apply some plain yogurt to the vagina or insert some of it into the vagina using a tampon. This treatment option works to maintain equilibrium between the good and bad bacteria that is present in the vagina. Treatments for vaginal odor also involve changing your undergarments daily. Try and wear cotton undergarments and if possible sleep without your undergarments at night. This will help the vagina to breathe better. Another effective home remedy for the treatment of vaginal odor is to insert a garlic clove in the vagina. This will get rid of both the infection and the foul odor. However care needs to be taken when using this remedy. In case you there is no improvement, have the doctor to treat your condition.

If there is vaginal odor, there is more than likely an infection. I suggest a mega dose of vitamin E. Take 4-400 units of it for only 4 days. It will work for any kind of an infection.
