Here are some of the most effective home remedies for canker sores:
- Firstly, limit your intake of salty and sweet foods if you know that you are allergic to these foods.
- Grate a fresh coconut and extract milk. Gargle with the coconut milk and see the difference.
- Add 1-cup fenugreek leaves or coriander leaves in 2 cups of boiled water and warm a little. Gargle with the strained liquid. Both fenugreek and coriander leaves have medicinal properties and are most effective in curing canker sores.
- Drink un-pasteurized goat's milk and chamomile tea.
- As a mouth rinse you can use blanched saliva or aloe vera juice.
- Apply Aloe Vera juice as a mouth rinse.
- Try brushing your teeth with backing soda. You can also apply backing soda topically on the ulcer.
