Any kind of infection would usually have the same remedy - heal it with antiseptic solutions. Turmeric is the best answer for this problem. You can apply a paste made of turmeric powder and mustard oil to your infected area. This will speed up the healing process tremendously. Alternatively, you can also drink a glass of hot milk with turmeric powder mixed into it thrice a day. This will help fight your infection from within. For speedier healing, you can also make a thick paste of plain lime powder, or white chalk powder and turmeric powder with water and apply this to your wound. This will burn, but can actually kill your infection within a day. After this, all you have to do is heal the wounds left behind.
There are also some general rules you can follow. Keep your infected area completely dry. If you have to, avoid having a bath as well. Dab a diluted solution of hydrogen peroxide (one part) and water (three parts) to the wound. Let this dry out in the open. This will keep it sanitized and help to keep the infection from spreading. You can also apply iodine tincture to the wound. This will also help with the healing process.
