Home remedies for skin rash due to hot wax hair removal

Natural Treatment for Skin Rash due to waxing

Rashes that have occurred due to hair removal with hot wax may actually be mild burns. It would be better if you determined what exactly these rashes are before you set about treating them. The first thing you should do in any case is run cold water over the rash. This will cool down the surface temperature of the skin and stop the rash or burn from moving any further. Alternatively, you can apply thick layers of cooling yogurt to your rashes. Mix a teaspoon of rose water in a cup of yogurt and leave it on for about 20 minutes. This will soothe the rash.

After you have finished with the procedure of hot wax hair removal, wait for 24 hours and then exfoliate your skin gently with a sugar scrub. It is important to use a sugar scrub because the sugar crystals will melt very rapidly, therefore not allowing you to overdo this even by chance. You can make your own by mixing sugar crystals with olive oil and bringing it to a pasty consistency. Wash this off with mild soap and warm water. You must also keep applying a mix of rosewater and turmeric powder intermittently to your rashes to ensure that they are healing.
