To have a thin vaginal discharge is completely normal as certain glands in the cervix and vagina of women produce small amounts of fluid which is necessary to keep the vagina clean and healthy. As you mentioned the discharge is whitish, is it accompanied with some kind of off odor or fishy odor? (This kind of odor is very strong after washing the vagina with soap or after an sexual act). A healthy discharge doesn't have any off odor and is clear or milky in color; however the color, consistency and thickness depend largely on the changes in ones monthly cycle. This discharge is thicker and milky generally when a women ovulates, or when she breastfeed or when she is sexually exited. If the whitish discharge has off odor there is a possibility of infections. For correct diagnosis it would be wise to consult a specialist as the treatment would follow only after a condition is identified. Ask her to keep the vaginal area dry and clean and preferably wear cotton panties and avoid tight fitted synthetic clothes as far as possible.
Stomach pain can be a symptom for numerous disorders, please visit a specialist to know what is keeping your wife sick as it is very important to know for an accurate treatment.
