Which vegetables are recommended to make nerves stronger?



Vegetables containing bioflavonoids, folic acid and vitamin B1 or thiamin are considered to make strong nerves.

Food sources of bioflavonoids include rind and pulp of citrus fruits and herbal sources include rose hips, buckwheat green, hawthorn fruits, chervil and elder berries. Food sources of folic acid includes spinach, organ meats like liver, kidney, whole grains, lentils, seeds, nuts, green vegetables and fermented foods. Herbal sources include parsley, alfalfa, sage, plantain, peppermint, and chickweed.

Food sources of thiamin include cabbage, cauliflower, asparagus, barley grass, kale, seaweeds, and citrus fruits. Besides food source, other herbal sources of thiamin include alfalfa, peppermint, burdock, fenugreek seeds, sage, catnip, watercress and rose buds and hips.

Essential fatty acids found in flaxseeds, wheat germ oil, cod liver oil, whole grains and seeds like hemp, evening primrose, black current, safflower and other oils also have properties which help to make strong nerves. Including calcium and copper in the diet also helps the nerves to be strong and less irritable.
