- Apply undiluted tea tree oil on the affected area. If it stings then you can dilute it by adding some oil like vegetable oil etc.
- Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar or white vinegar and dab on your foot 2 to 3 times daily. Continue this for twice a day in the morning and at night even after it has been cured so as to prevent the fungus from reappearing. Or add half a cup of vinegar in a bucket half full of water and soak your feet in it for 10 to 15 minutes 2 times a day.
- After washing your feet dry them with a hair dryer and dust with cornstarch powder. You can also sprinkle some powder in your shoes before wearing it.
- In half a cup of rubbing alcohol, add 5 aspirin tablets and massage your feet with it 2 times everyday after getting up in the morning and before retiring to bed.
- You can also wash your feet with diluted Listerine mouthwash.
- Wear cotton socks and wash them everyday. Discard worn out socks and keep extra pairs with you. Wear slippers at home and if possible wear sandals while going out for a while.
