- Massage your body from the hip region to your feet in a liner motion 3 to 4 times a day. Use mustard oil for this preferably as it will keep your body warm. Boil 3 or garlic cloves or a few clove spices in it and massage with it while it is warm. Olive oil, sesame oil or almond oil will also serve the purpose.
- Do not sit cross legged or in one position for too long. Gently fold and unfold your legs and stretch them and your calf muscles to restore circulation.
- Avoid carrying heavy weights or bending too much for a while.
- Do hot fermentation to the area with a hot water bag or a heating device. If you do this immediately after taking a massage then this will ensure the warm oil being absorbed in the body.
- Also try applying cold compress on your hips and legs. You can either do alternate hot and cold compress or use the one which gives you more relief.
- Sit straight in a chair and you can also use a back rest and while lying down prop up your legs on a couple of pillows.
- Exercise regularly to maintain your body weight and to keep your blood circulation regulated.
