Eye pain home remedies:
- Avoid sitting on the computer for long hours and have at least one feet gap between your eye level and the monitor. Take short breaks at regular intervals.
- Try this exercise in your short break. Rub your palms for 1-2 minutes and place them on your eyes gently (avoid putting pressure on the eye balls). The warm feeling will help relax the nerves in the eyes and help in blood circulation.
- Sun bath your eyes. Concentrate on your eyes while performing this exercise. Don't look directly in the sun. Look both sides, up to down, diagonally and try to stretch your eyes to allow more sunlight in your eye.
- All these exercises should be performed several times a day with patience for maximum benefits.
- Include foods rich in vitamin A, beta carotene which includes - Carrots, dark green leafy vegetables, turnip, tomatoes, lettuce, soya bean, orange, papaya, mango, cucumber, apples and grapes.
- Hot water steam when taken twice or thrice daily will take care of your running nose.
