It is common to associate nausea with foods which you eat. Daily intolerance (including milk) can give a nauseous feeling and it is the most common group (food wise) to cause nausea. Intolerance can be due to the milk protein (casein) or milk carbohydrate (lactose) in the milk.
Keep a note for how many times you feel nauseous when you consume milk. If not each time you can incorporate it in your diet according to your flexibility or avoid it for few days if it triggers the feeling of nausea. Try the following home remedies to combat nausea.
- Cut a small piece of ginger and have it with a pinch of rock salt. You can even keep it ready in a bottle (cut small pieces of ginger add salt and lemon in it and store it).
- Along with your morning tea try some pieces of toast, crackers or biscuits, this will prevent the nauseous feeling.
- Avoid milk intake along with oily, junk foods and fatty meals, as these foods takes long time to get digested and makes you feel bloated.
- To aid digestion add fresh grated ginger and grounded cumin seeds in food.
- If nausea is associated with vomiting then keep yourself well hydrated to avoid dehydration.
