Home remedies for dandruff:
- Make a mixture with three tablespoons of vinegar and one cup of water. Rinse hair with the following mixture. This will remove the shampoo residue with causes itching
- Discontinue shampoos which have ammonium lauryl sulfate as this causes dandruff
- Make a mixture of limejuice, cider, vinegar, curd and indian gooseberry juice. Apply it on hair for an hour and wash it off
- Soak two tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in water for eight hours. Grind them into
- a fine paste. Apply it for 30 min and wash it off
- Massage your scalp with olive oil. Wash it off later
- Warm coconut oil with the juice of two lemons and apply it on hair. Leave it for two hours and wash off
- Wash and rinse hair with tea made from margosa leave
- Apply sage and rosemary tea to the scalp.
- Exposure of hair to the sun also will help in reducing the thinning of hair caused by dandruff.
- Drinking 8 glasses of water per day will not only reduce dandruff but helps in arresting hair fall
- Avoid shampoos with fragrance
- Proper nutrition and diet above all is the best remedy for hair growth
