You seem to be suffering from two different problems related to your hair. There are several causes for an itchy scalp. Pollution, dryness of the scalp, dandruff, even sunburn! However, it is always advisable to consult a doctor before you begin any kind of treatment.
Most of the shampoos that you find stocked on the supermarket shelves contain very strong chemicals. These chemicals cause dryness of the scalp and result in open pores. The open pores are easy prey for the various funguses that cause dandruff and other hair conditions. For an itchy scalp soak a handful of Fenugreek seeds overnight. Grind these to a fine paste and apply on your scalp. Leave on for some time before washing off. Shampoo your hair with a soothing shampoo before applying a mixture made of two parts of apple cider vinegar with one part of warm water. Let this dry out. If the itching persists, then mix the vinegar and water in a one to one ratio and apply.
Lemon juice, when applied to the scalp, also helps reduce itching. Oily hair is caused by overactive sebaceous glands. These glands produce sebum in excess, causing oiliness of skin or hair. Puberty, pollution, bad sleep cycles, even what you eat can affect your hair and result in those bad hair days. The natural tendency is to shampoo oily hair. Just make sure that you choose a shampoo that helps you. Avoid using a conditioner. For healthy, shiny hair, you need to eat right. Make sure you include plenty of fresh green vegetables and fruits in your daily diet.
