Health advice for bowel movement
- 1 hour before lunch and dinner eat 1 apple. This will prevent constipation and aid in bowel movement.
- Take folic acid regularly.
- Drink 1 cup of Aloe Vera juice 2 times a day. This will ensure the cleansing of digestive system
- Drink ginger tea regularly to help with the bowel movement. You can also take 1 tsp of ginger juice mixed with 1 tsp of honey once a day.
- Have lots of fruits, vegetables, sprouts, steamed foods, raw vegetable salads, beans and cereals.
- Drink a cup of warm milk at before retiring to bed at night. You can 2 tsp of castor oil to it if you are highly constipated.
- Drink warm water during the day to help you with regular bowel movement.
- Eat ripe Bael fruit or make its juice and add honey to it. Have it on an empty stomach whenever you fell very constipated.
- Add 3 to 4 tsp of psyllium husk (Sat Isabgol) in warm water or milk and take it before sleeping at night.
- You can take plain and warm water enema to get the bowels.
- Yerba Mate is very helpful in regularizing bowel movement if taken in the form of tea.
- Take a stroll half an hour before going to bed at night.
