Thus it should be consumed in restricted amounts for pregnant ladies and children as vitamin A toxicity can occur in children and it can also causes birth defects in new born. The non-heam iron present in beef liver helps to deal with anemia. Beef liver is also rich in other minerals like phosphorous, calcium, vitamin D, vitamin B12, copper and vitamin C.
