There is no herb that can cut out cigarette cravings. There are, however, several things you can eat in order to cut down the effect of nicotine in your body. They work to neutralize the impact of nicotine in your blood stream. To provide an easy example, they act like odour neutralizers which take care of foul odours. Please do remember that the foul odours are not 'removed'; instead, an odour neutralizer releases a stronger smell that blocks them.
Among the foods that neutralize the impact of nicotine in your body are those that are rich in vitamin C. This would include all citrus fruits such as oranges, sweet limes, lemons, kumquats, grapefruit, mandarins, pomelos and tangerines. You must make it a point to eat at least two per day, as they will help to fight the addictive effects of nicotine in your body. Pineapples are another fruit that neutralize the work nicotine does in your body. If possible, try to eat one a day. Kiwi is another fruit that will help to destroy nicotine that is stored in the far reaching cracks and crevices of your body and lungs. Although this may sound too simple to be true, every time you feel the urge to smoke, you should drink a whole glass of water. This will generally take away the desire to smoke, and you will also be able to detoxify your system with drinking too much water.
