Natural Cures for Anus Fistula
Anal fissure in simple words is a small tear in the lining that is situated around the anus. It is generally caused due to constipation, but has also been known to occur due to a severe case of diarrhea and inflammation. The fissure is quite painful especially immediately after a bowel movement. This happens because the anus and the anal canal contain muscles that control the flow of the stool and when the muscles stretch the fissure opens up. The fissure also bleeds and itches and if left untreated it could lead to chronic medial problems that include disease of the kidney, ulcerations and damage of the nerves in the leg.
In order to spot an anus fistula examine the anus and the surrounding area (generally in the back or posterior section of the anus). If you are unsure about doing it yourself, show it to your doctor. An anus fistula is some thing that would have been handled by your doctor before and is not an embarrassing problem to inform your doctor about. These fissures normally either heal by themselves or through the use of non surgical treatment such as medicated creams and antibiotics. Stool softeners will also help in reducing the pain experienced during bowel movements. However the most important factor to keep in mind is hygiene. Make sure you keep the fissure clean and dry at all points in time in order to keep it from getting infected.
