If you have a stuffy head with slight fever, you might actually be having the symptoms of a flu, or it could just be a case of sinusitis. It could also be a case of allergy to pollen or dust. In any case, a small dose of Vitamin C on a regular basis will surely help. One of the home remedies that you can try for sinusitis is 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with ½ a cup of apple juice, ¼ cup of water, ¼ teaspoon of baking soda, and some honey for a sweeter taste.
Another home remedy is to inhale steam regularly. The method for steam inhalation is to boil a pot of water, add a teaspoon of turmeric to it, then drape a towel over your head and cover the pot as well, then inhale the steam through your nose for about 15 minutes. Repeat this inhalation at least four times in a day. Keep chocolates to a minimum until your nose clears. Take a bath in warm water; this will also help in clearing your nose. Minimize on your intake of alcohol, especially beer, white wine and red wine. Take some bed rest to avoid aggravating your fever.
