What natural remedies are there for chronic hives? Nothing helps!

Hives can also be termed as urticura. These are basically groups of raised, white or red welts that are itchy. That can be of any size and tend to disappear after a period of a few weeks or less. However in some case they become a recurrent problem and end up becoming chronic.

The exact cause of why these hives become chronic has never been identified as the reasons vary widely from person to person. By this it is meant that there are normally a number of factors like a reaction to foods or certain medication or substances that can cause the allergy and the reaction to each or a combination of these factors can trigger a completely different reaction in each person. Sometimes though there occurrence of chronic hives is caused due an underlying autoimmune disorder. An autoimmune disorder is when the body starts to attack normal tissue thinking that it is damaged and hence can also cause an allergy. There may also be a relation between chronic hives with thyroid disease or lupus. Sometimes the hives are also aggravated by stress, over exertion or heat or cold.

The best and probably the most effective way in which you can try to combat chronic hives is to try and identify the exact cause of the allergy and how often does it occur because of the that particular reason. For this you will have to study your diet and by eliminating and then adding new food stuffs every week you can identify if it is any food stuff that is causing the allergy. In this way you can make as study of all the objects in your environment as well as the personal products and clothing that you use in order to see if they are maybe one of the factors causing the hives. If there is a much deeper underlying problem such as an infection or disorder, then you will have to use an antihistamine medication in order to get relief. Consult your doctor for a proper diagnosis and proper guidance as to what is the right kind of medication.
