When fat deposits accumulate in the liver it causes a condition known as steatosis or fatty liver. The liver helps to metabolize the fat in the body and keeps it healthy. Fatty liver can be caused due to diabetes, obesity and excessive consumption of alcohol that makes the liver unhealthy. If your fatty liver is due to diabetes then you need to keep your sugar in check and stick to a healthy diet. If it is due to being overweight then you need to take care of what you eat and drink. Avoid the consumption of fatty foods and refined processed junk foods. Drink plenty of water to get rid of the toxins and to improve your sluggish system. Exercise regularly to maintain flexibility and improve the blood circulation in your body.
