I am 27 and usually my period is delayed by 2-3 days, however this time its more than 8 days and I am worried. Advice me a home remedy to prepone. Awaiting for youf early response?

The first thing to figure out is why exactly you would want to have your monthly period come early. Since you mentioned “prepone”, it can be assumed that you would want your period to arrive sooner than usual. Unless you are in danger of becoming pregnant, there is no reason why you should worry about your menstrual cycle. It is also always a good idea to know a few things about your monthly period. The first thing is that it does not have to come each month like clockwork on the same day and date. If your period is delayed by a few days, this is not unusual and is completely normal. The menstrual cycle can depend upon a vast number of things. They can range from your hormonal balances, your eating habits and your sex life to your general stress levels and lifestyle. So there is absolutely nothing wrong with you getting your monthly period a week late. If this phenomenon worries you excessively, then you should be able to address why. If you are having unprotected sex, you should try to stop this as soon as you possibly can. Try to use a contraceptive device that is recommended by your gynecologist. Rather than pick a contraceptive off the counter, discuss all your options with your gynecologist so that you can find one that best suits your needs.

You can regularize your period at home to some extent, but do not expect that you will be able to make it come like clockwork. A steady routine of exercise and a healthy diet will ensure that your body functions as close to normal as is humanly possible. Try to have regular meal times as well and make sure that you have about 4 to 6 smaller portion meals per day instead of 2 or 3 large ones. Having a regular lifestyle will work very well for you in terms of regularizing your period. Your best bet is to do Yoga. About one hour or Yoga daily will allow you to have an excellent form and will also help in regularizing all the general systems of your body. However, if you cannot do this, you should at least try to get in about half an hour of a walk on a daily basis. Swimming is also an excellent form of exercise that will help in positively developing your body overall. Try to swim about thrice a week for best results. Once again, to the point of being repetitive, please try and ease your mind about a period that has been delayed by a week.
