I would like to know if to catch hepatitis B can one use medication VIAGRA ?

The whole world obsesses over this medication and many consider this a godsend. For people suffering with erectile dysfunction, Viagra perhaps is actually a blessing in disguise. Though there are many claims of natural aphrodisiacs without any side effects, none have been able to beat Viagra both in popularity and in functionality. For years, this drug has helped men perform sexually even though at twenty dollars a pill, this medication is extremely expensive.

Due to the popularity and the nature of marketing of this medicine, a lot many people have tried to study the effects of this medicine. In reality, no matter how many claims drug makers make, there are few drugs that work perfectly, without causing the body any harm or side effects. Viagra too is no exception. Viagra, like all other drugs, is capable of affecting other parts of the body, though unintentionally, just because it flows in the blood. Though common drugs that we take for everyday maladies have minor side effects that may subside in some time, Viagra has some that patients should really look out for.

Viagra has a spillover effect that can affect the cones in the retina. The cones are responsible for distinguishing color and any effect on them could cause color blindness. The perception of blue and green colors is especially altered when this drug is taken and for a few days, everything seems to appear having a blue tint. Viagra also interferes with the prescribed medicine for angina. The increased nitric oxide that is produced on taking Viagra can result in further blocking of arteries and many people have had heart attacks due to it. There have been many elderly patients who have complained of heart attack especially after ingesting a Viagra pill.

There are other problems like frequent headaches that are abetted by Viagra. The arteries on the lining of the brain are opened up when Viagra is taken. This causes excess pressure on the brain and therefore results in headaches. Since the pill is also associated with heart attacks, it is distributed largely as a prescription drug instead of over-the-counter pill. There have also been patients who have taken Viagra and had long and painful erections that just don't seem to go away. Eventually they have to see a doctor and be in an embarrassing situation. With all the side effects nothing has yet been observed that would link Hepatitis B and Viagra, though it has been seen that people who take Viagra frequently can have recurrent bouts of hepatitis C.

Hepatitis B virus may be transmitted through bodily fluids such as blood, saliva, or semen.  If one is taking Viagra to facilitate sexual intercourse, then there may be a correlation between Viagra and an increased risk of hepatitis B if the sexual partners are not using protection such as condoms.
