Tape worm is a parasite that thrives on living organisms (human body) for their protection, nourishment and survival. It can be caused due to various reasons like poor digestion and elimination, consuming uncooked meat, diet low in fiber or bacterial imbalance in the body.
- Peel and crush 1tbsp of pumpkin seeds and infuse in ¼ liter of boiling water. Drinking this water will help expelling tape worms from your body. It would be better if you fast for a day and empty your intestines by taking boiled dry prune juice. Next day drink 3- 4 liters of pumpkin seed infusion. This will be a very effective remedy for tapeworms.
- Take a cold decoction of the bark of the root of pomegranate tree (preferably fresh) 3 times every 90 minutes. The alkaloid present in the bark proves very toxic for the tape worms and helps in expelling them from the body. Dose for adults is 90-180ml and for children is 30-60ml.
- Avoid oily foods, cream, butter, refined foods (White flour based products) meat, ham and pork. Instead increase the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables and whole wheat products.
- Wash all the foods thoroughly before consuming, especially fish and chicken and cook them well before eating
