First of all, stop using your usual deo. You may have developed an allergy to your deodorant or anti-perspirant. Keep your underarms clean by dabbing with a moist tissue whenever you can.
Remedy for Dark Underarms: Regular waxing is the best. It not only makes your armpits look lighter and cleaner but also removes hair from the roots. Avoid shaving or using hair removal creams in your armpits.
These simple home remedies are sure to help you:
- Mix 1 teaspoon cucumber juice with 1 teaspoon lime juice and a pinch of turmeric powder. Leave on armpits for 20 mins and wash off.
- Make paste of 1 teaspoon gram flour + 1 teaspoon sandalwood powder + few drops of lime + milk + pinch of tumeric powder. Leave on armpits for 20 mins and wash off.
- Apply paste made with 1 tablespoon gramflour + 1 tsp plain yogurt (yoghurt) + 1 teaspoon milk. When it dries, wash off with water.
- Apply paste of sandalwood powder and rose water to underarms. Wash off with water, when it dries out.
- Apply Vitamin E oil on the affected areas.
