how do i reduce swelling in my ankles and feet?

my fiance has advanced liver diesese. he has alot of proplems with ankle and feet swelling. any good remedies. thanks alot linda.

Swelling in your ankles and feet is a condition called as Edema or Oedema. There is fluid and water retention and it may be the symptom of some other underlying disease. Drugs given to treat hypertension can also cause edema.
