Kidney infection (pyelonephritis) is a specific type of urinary tract infection (UTI) that generally begins in your urethra or bladder and travels up into your kidneys. If not treated properly, kidney infection can permanently damage your kidneys or spread to your bloodstream and cause a life-threatening infection. Prompt medical attention is required.
Some home remedies to help
Water: Drink lots of water (6-8 glass) daily and your bladder infection will clear up in no time. Try to pee as often as you can (even though you already have the urge!).
Asparagus: Get about 6 asparagus stalks and boil them until they get squashy. Let stand until cool; then eat and drink the juice.
Apple cider vinegar, Honey: Mix 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar with 1 tsp of Honey in a glass of warm water. Drink 6 times a daily!
Cranberry: Drink plenty of cranberry juice at the very first sign of an infection, at least two glass a day. Cranberry juice prevents bacteria from sticking to bladder walls. Try to drink the real cranberry juice, If you cant get the real deal, you can make it by Taking a bag of fresh or frozen cranberries and boil them in water (they will fall apart). Cool and drink. Don't Add Sugar!!! This remedy is also useful for people with kidney problems as well.
Sulfur: Eat foods that are high in sulfur: Spinach, Asparagus, Brussels sprouts, Onions, Cabbage, Beans/Peas, Garlic, Wheat germ, Almonds, etc.
Parsley: Take an entire bunch of fresh parsley and boil in a litre of water. Let cool and drink throughout the day.
