- Drink adequate amounts of water and fluid. This is especially helpful in preventing hyperpigmentation between the legs.
- Cut down on stress by getting adequate amount of sleep and regular exercise, yoga, meditation, morning walks etc.
- Apply an apricot scrub to refresh the area
- Protect the skin from UV rays by applying a good sunscreen. Also, use a good sun block before hitting the beach or the swimming pool.
- Lemon, turmeric and yogurt are natural bleaching (lightening) agents. Apply a mixture of these to the dark areas, leave for 20-25 minutes and rinse with cool water.
- Rub some milk to the area and leave it overnight. Milk can naturally lighten skin over a period of time.
- Reduce friction and perspiration by wearing loose cotton clothing.
- Overweight or obese people tend to have discolored inner thighs. This is mainly caused due to friction which occurs when the thighs rub against each other. Losing weight can remedy this.
