- Before every meal, soak some slices of ginger in lemon juice and chew on them afterwards.
- Drink 1 cup of warm water in which 1 tsp of brandy has been mixed before going to bed at night.
- Chewing peppermint after every meal is very beneficial as the menthol present in mint helps in cleansing your breath and also provides reprieve from bloating and abdominal pain due to gas.
- In 1 tsp of honey add 1 drop of dill oil and take it immediately after your meals regularly.
- Boil 1 cup of water and add 1 tsp of bay leaves in it. Leave it for 5 minutes and then strain it and drink it.
- Warm a cup of water and add 1 tsp of anisette liqueur. Stir it thoroughly and sip it.
- Apply hot water bag on your abdomen to relieve the pain.
- Take short walks or stroll after having meals at night and before going to bed. Never lie down immediately after eating your meals.
- Exercise regularly and avoid foods which contain fats and carbohydrates. Such foods as broccoli, beans, cauliflower and some kinds of pulses produce gas.
- Always chew your food slowly and never overeat. Divide your meals in 6 smaller meals ones.
