- Add 1 tsp of lemon juice to 1 glass of lukewarm water. Drink it 2 or 3 times a day to control blood flow.
- Cook 1 banana flower and take it with 1 cup of milk once a day.
- Ground a handful of apple leaves and make its paste. Take 1 tsp of this paste with water once daily.
- Place an ice pack on your abdomen and lie down with your feet over 2 or 3 pillows. You can also try doing hot compress on the lower abdomen to relieve pain.
- Ibuprofen may increase your bleeding. Tylenol is a good substitute.
- Add 1 tsp of coriander seeds to 2 cups of water and boil it till it reduces to half its quantity. Mix sugar for taste and drink it 3 times daily.
- Ground 10 fresh buds of fig and apply it below the navel. Leave it for 3 or 4 hours and then wipe it off. You can repeat it 2 or 3 times a day.
- Take 2 tbs of black strap molasses and 2 tbs of apple cider vinegar with 1 glass of water in the mornings.
- Avoid drinking tea or coffee and take as much rest as possible.
- You can also do some light exercises especially meant to relieve cramps and reduce bleeding.
