Home cures for gastritis
- It is difficult to get pure soya milk so avoid it if you have gastritis.
- Chew a small piece of ginger with a pinch of salt a few minutes before having dinner. It aids digestion.
- Coconut water keeps the stomach cool and provides relief from gastritis. It helps the digestive system in getting back to its normal state.
- Drink potato juice half an hour before meals.
- Having two tablespoon of the herb Marigold before meals is also beneficial for digestion.
- Drink 300 ml of carrot juice mixed with 200 ml of spinach juice once a day.
- Soak asafetida, tamarind and cumin seeds in water for 2-3 hours and then strain the liquid and drink it.
- Mix 1 part of black salt with 6 parts of Sprague powder and consume 2 grams of this with warm water.
- Drink 1 glass of buttermilk along with your meals.
- Chew roasted fennel after meals.
- Lemon juice is also a very effective remedy for gastritis.
- Add half a teaspoon of licorice tea in 1 cup of hot water. Strain the tea after 10 minutes and drink it thrice daily.
- Avoid alcohol, spices, pickles, chilies, sweets, aerated drinks and strong tea and coffee
- Eat a high fiber diet and never remain hungry for long.
- Keep drinking half a glass of water every 40-45 minutes.
