Treatment for lack of energy in voice

From your description it sounds as though you are suffering from laryngitis. Although this sounds like it is a terrible illness, there is really no need to worry. Laryngitis is a condition that develops when your voice box is irritated. Most people can talk for long lengths of time without any problem.. However, some people notice that their voices fade when they have been speaking for a little while. What happens to them is that their vocal cords become dry. They are also swollen and so, when the air passes through them, it results in a voice that sounds strange. In extreme cases people lose their voices. Laryngitis sis not a permanent condition and you can easily cure this.

The easiest remedy is to save your voice, and not use it at all. However not talking is not a viable option for most people. They can keep their mucous membrane moist by constantly sipping fluids.  Water is the first, and often the best option. But warm water will certainly soothe your throat. Herbal tea is another option. . Or make your own drink by steeping ginger and honey in hot water. Just adding some lemon and honey to hot water will help too.
