How can i get more energy? By 9am i start to fall asleep at my desk at work and have to get up and walk around



Anemia, oversleeping, lack of sleep, unhealthy diet and lifestyle, side effects of antibiotics or stress are the common reasons for tiredness. Sleep early and for at least 7 to 8 hours a day and try to get up early. Drink lots of water as the lack of it may also cause weakness. Do not take stress and avoid smoking. Reduce the intake of alcohol and other alcoholic beverages. Follow a nutritious diet for a healthy and energetic living.

Eat a full breakfast as there is an interval of 10 to 12 hours between dinner and breakfast time. Cereals, fruit and vegetable juices, herbal tea, sprouts and whole wheat bread are ideal for your breakfast. Boiled eggs and a cup of skim milk can also be included in it. Have your meals 5 to 6 times a day right from breakfast to dinner. Eat lightly and snack on healthy foods and avoid fats, fried and oily foods, carbohydrates, limit sugar and salt consumption, white rice and red meat. Have buttermilk, skim milk, yoghurt, brown rice and bread, unsaturated nuts, raw vegetable salads, fruits, sprouts, lean meat and fish.

Lessen the amount of tea and coffee. Work out regularly. You can either do aerobics or yoga and breathing exercises every morning or evening.
