Home remedies on heartburn are effective. Besides remedies you must avoid spicy, fatty and acidic food. Totally avoiding coffee, alcohol, smoking is beneficial. Some heartburn remedies are -
- Ginger tea is good solution for heartburn. Grind ginger and add it in tea.
- Herbal tea including peppermint, ginger, catnip, chamomile, fennel, licorice after dinner helps.
- Drinking plenty of water is also helpful. Drinking 1 liter of water in a day helps to minimize toxins from body and helps to expel acid from body naturally.
- One teaspoon of baking soda with one cup of water is applicable.
- Avoid lying down immediately after meals.
- Fresh mint juice after meal is good.
- A cup of cold milk gives relief from heartburn pain.
- Boil cumin seeds in one cup of water and drink.
- Tender coconut water 4-5 times a day also helps.
