My brother had a boil on his outer thigh, my dad said to put egg yoke on it and I thought it was gross. When the pain became unbearable to him we tried it and 30 minutes later the boil began to discharge pus. I hope this helps.
After a number of boils in my private areas including the groin and under my breast, I was diagnosed with TypeII Diabetes and was told that these boils in those area was a sign of high blood sugar.
I'm not sure if I spelled that right, but ok...I have had boils for years on my inner thighs...I read somewhere to try this, and it is a miracle! I didn't think it would work, but I was willing to try anything! Here's what to do...Take a few thick gauze pads, and put some campho-phenique in the middle. Place it over the boil and leave it overnight! It works wonders!!
Take a tablespoon of evaporated milk with a few drops of water added and soak it up with white bread. Put the bread directly on the boil for at least 45 minutes (to an hour) at least two times a day. Repeat for a couple of days until it's all completely gone. As a follow up, take vitamin C every day for 30 days to flush it out your system. This works.
I would highly suggest the use of tea tree oil for many things especially boils. My husband had a carbuncle (cluster of boils) the size as a small orange on his back. He was in a lot of pain. After 4 applications (24 hrs) It is 1/2 way gone. And this was after a week of unsuccessful attempts like heating pads, epsom salt, etc. Aplly infected area with oil using a q-tip or cotton, let air or cover (we did both covered while at work) and when you feel the tingle you know its working! Good Luck
I have suffered with boils since i had my daughter the more i get them the painful they seem to be . I have tried egg whites at times and it has worked. You take an egg uncooked and crack the shell, inside the shell there is a very thin film i'm not sure what it's called, but if you pull it out carefully and place it on the boil it will start to harden and you will feel the boil becoming very hot at the tip, in a few hours the boil will pop and you will began to feel relief. I hope this works for you. Good luck.
I had boils in the thigh and groin area for years..treated them with hot as I could stand wet compresses and antibiotic cream...but finally found the cause..."pantyhose"! I quit wearing pantyhose and had no more problems...
I was having a problem with recurring boils on my inner thighs. I found that a moist washcloth and a heating pad was the best way to get the boil to come to a head and burst. I also read on a home remedy webpage that eating raisins would help. I make myself eat a small box of raisin (the kiddie snack size) off and on. it has been over a year since my last boil.
I too have found that teatree oil helps prevent the boil from developing further, if I catch it right from the start. I apply it with a cotton ball, and continue to reapply twice a day until it disappears. The IMPORTANT PART is to catch it in the very first stage, other wise I found that it still runs it course.
The first few boils I got were the worst and largest in my private area. My first advice is never try to pop it! The infection goes deeper and becomes larger. I thought I could pop it like a pimple, but boy was I wrong! I still get them off and on, but by applying phisoderm 5 minute mask, it pulls the infection out and dries the boil, so it never comes to a head and they disappear fast! I also heard they applied plaster anciently and I think the same principle applies---to draw the infection out of the skin. I apply the mask and let it dry before I go to bed and the next morning it's practically gone. I mostly get them on my face or head now---nothing like the first ones!
