Exercises for Strabismus

There are even exercises for living with strabismus. The main focus of these exercises is to strengthen the muscles and improve the vision center in the brain.

One exercise is to cover one eye at a time, and attempt to read something from a distance or spot details on an object from a distance. Another exercise involves continuously staring at one object for a long period of time. This helps your eyes to build up strength along with concentration.

Such exercises can help people live with amblyopia which tricks the brain into not registering visions from the weak eye. Along with eye exercises, it is important to continue an eye patch or eye glasses, if such have been prescribed.
