How to control or calm roseacea?

You can calm these ugly outbreaks of nasty red marks and pimples on your entire face in a variety of ways. Start by applying cool or cold compresses. These will always help to subside the itching and burning sensations that typically accompany rosacea. You can also use a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser and regularly clean your face with this. Rose water would be an excellent product to use. You must also switch to non-medicated herbal soaps which will not react to your skin in any way. Try a soap that has a chamomile and tea base, as both these products are known for soothing rosacea flare-ups.

You must also try to stay out of the sun, which can cause a tan on top of the rosacea and make it look darker and more unsightly. You must also moisturize your skin, despite the fact that it may look oily. This is extremely important in order to not aggravate rosacea. Use natural moisturizers such as cucumber juice or mashed over-ripe bananas. These is not only moisturizing, they will also retain water in your skin. You can also apply aloe vera gel to your skin to calm the flare-up. Avoid common skin allergens such as wool, and avoid eating nuts and soy, as these will aggravate your situation.
