Clogged ears are a result of ear infection. Infection is aggravated by moisture, as microbes grow well under moist conditions. Eating a chewing gum relieves of plugged ears, due to pressure. Ear wax accumulated over a few days is difficult to remove. Accumulation of water due to a shower calls for immediate rescue. Tilt your on the opposite side and shake well. Avoid the use of ear buds, as the wax might get pushed down the ear. Mineral oil or any other sweet oil is effective. Vinegar and hydrogen peroxide in equal proportion is beneficial. Allergens are also serious contributing factors for plugged ears. Deficiency of certain fatty acids also cause plugged ears.
