Remedies for flatulence
Malodorous gas usually has one of two reasons; either your wife is unable to digest what she eats, or she is eating food that she is so mildly allergic to that the allergy has gone undetected. Ginger is the best remedy for passing gas of any kind. Chew on a piece of ginger as often as you can. Dry ginger powder mixed with a pinch of asafetida can be taken with warm water in the morning or at night. Initially, she may pass more gas than usual, but this will soon come to an end. Ask her to examine her stools and see what kind of food is passing out without being digested. She should avoid eating that particular food, as she may be allergic to it. Tell her to try and avoid gassy food for a week and see if it makes a difference. This would include beans, lentils, legumes, potatoes, carbonated drinks, corn and any kind of fermented food. She should also try to avoid milk and milk products for some time to determine that she does not have any milk related allergies that are causing this problem. If possible, also ask her to cut down on her meat intake during the time of trying out these remedies, since meat only adds to odors.
