The problem you have described sounds like it could be caused due to any number of things. The one definite recommendation for it would be to get a medical consultation before you try any self help remedies. Since the area you are affected in is a delicate one, it is always wiser to rule out any serious problem right at the outset. The other thing you can do is to run a check through your own levels of unusual activity over the last few days. If you have had any kind of injury or bumped into anything even gently, it could have resulted in your pain, swelling or sores. Sometimes, even a gentle nudge can actually affect us harder than we think. If this is the case, then you can try superficial healing tactics. Apply cold compresses to the area to bring down the swelling. This will also help to relieve the pain caused by the sores.
The other thing you need to determine is if you have had any kind of unusual sexual activity which you haven't tried before. Sometimes, this also can lead to unusual symptoms like the ones you have described. If so, you would need to stop this at once and see if it makes any difference. In order to take care of the painful area, you can also apply a poultice made of plain flour to which you have added a bit of mustard oil, make it warm and apply to the painful area. This will help tremendously with the healing. You should also make it a point to have a glass of milk to which half a teaspoon of turmeric powder has been added every night before going to bed. Turmeric will help to heal your injuries from within, if you have incurred any.
