I am a office going lady of 31 yrs and my hairs are not growing. Please help me out because I have less time to spend on myself.

Some additional information would be useful in a case like this - the complaint that hair refuses to go is quite a common one, but it can have many different causes. You have not provided any details except for your age, so it is difficult to say what the reason could be for the slow growth rate (your hair will of course not completely stop growing, but the rate of growth could be so slow as to be almost imperceptible).

One of the main areas that you need to tackle is your diet. Hair problems can often be traced to a faulty diet that has some sort of deficiency. Certain minerals and vitamins are essential for proper growth and health of one's hair. A lack of these nutrients can result in hair loss, premature graying, or, as in your case, extremely slow growth. In general, you should try to see that your diet is well rounded, but in particular you should make sure that your diet contains enough vitamin B, as vitamin B6 and B12 in particular is important for the growth of hair. Milk, eggs, and whole grain cereals are good sources of these two vitamins. Other vitamins are also needed, but it is unlikely that a deficiency would be severe enough to affect hair growth without causing other health problems. Two minerals - copper and iron - are also necessary for proper hair growth. These can be obtained nuts such as almonds and cashews, sea food (particularly shellfish such as crabs), and fruits, particularly apples. Fruits such as bananas are also good sources of iodine, which is another mineral that can affect hair growth.

In addition to this, some simple hair care measures are necessary to coax your hair to grow faster. The most common one, which is sometimes neglected by people and replaced by the use of more modern, commercial products, is oiling your hair regularly. Other hair care products are not necessarily harmful when used in moderation, but they do not replace oil. Coconut oil is probably the most effective, as it penetrates the hair shaft better than any other oil and also provides the most protection against protein loss. It is not necessary to oil your hair daily, or to go around with oily hair at all times. Simply oil your hair overnight two or three times a week, and wash your hair the next morning. It is also possible that you are not getting enough rest - you say that you do not have enough time to spend on yourself, and if this means that you are stressed out or not getting enough sleep, it could affect your hair.
