Hair loss can be defined as the thinning or disappearing of ones hair. A human being is said to lose an average of 100 strands of hair on a daily basis, this is a normal process, anything over this however is considered to be abnormal. This condition can be accounted for by a large number of factors, some of which are; poor diet, poor scalp hygiene, hormonal imbalance, stress and anxiety, dandruff, genetics and age. Whatever the cause may be, no one likes to witness clumps of their hair being shed very day. Since you mentioned that you have a broad forehead, which is accompanied by a thin hair growth, it could be possible that you are genetically predisposed to this condition. In other words, if either of your parents has scanty hair growth then you will probably have it too. In such a scenario there is little or nothing that one can do. However if this is not the reason for your scanty growth, then there are plenty of home remedies that you could implement to have thick and long hair.
Aloe vera gel and coconut milk are both excellent remedies for treating hair loss. Slice an aloe vera leaf into half and scoop out its gel. Apply a liberal layer of this gel onto the scalp. Let the application stay on for half an hour before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Coconut milk when applied in a similar manner is known to be equally effective. Warm almond oil is also an excellent remedy for treating hair loss. Warm a tablespoon of almond oil on a low fire. Once the oil cools to a favorable temperature (but is still warm) massage it into your scalp for 15 minutes. Leave the application on overnight and rinse it off the next morning. This remedy has to be performed 2-3 times week to promote hair growth.
Virgin coconut oil can also be used as an alternative to almond oil and has to be applied in the same manner. Take the yolk of one egg and whip it thoroughly, this should then be massaged into your scalp for 5-10 minutes. Leave the application on for about 30 minutes, before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Simmer 500 ml of water and a few rosemary leaves for 10-15 minutes. Once the mixture cools strain it into a mug. This decoction should be used to rinse the hair on a daily basis, to stimulate growth.
