To some extent, sagging of the face muscles and wrinkling of the skin is an entirely normal part of the ageing process, and just has to be accepted. There are some things that you can do to slow the process down (just as many people tend to do lots of things that speed up the process!), but you must realize and accept that it cannot be stopped or "treated" as you would a disease.
To begin with things that you shouldn't do - firstly, if you smoke, quit smoking. This is one of the worst things you can do to your face. You should also avoid being around people who smoke, or at least ask them not to smoke around you. Second hand smoke is as bad, if not worse. Secondly, avoid using cheap, harsh, and perfumed soaps, or if possible, avoid using soap on your face altogether. Instead use a mild face wash or cleanser once a day, and use plain water the rest of the time. Avoid using make up too often, and when you do use make up, do so sparingly.
You should make sure that you drink enough water, as dehydration can make the skin look dry and old. You can also use a moisturizer on your face, one with Vitamin E. In addition, you should exercise regularly and eat healthily. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, cut down on fats and meat products. If you are in good health, it will show on your face.
