If you are on oxygen because of a breathing problem then it is likely that it is your runny nose and other assorted symptoms which are responsible for the oxygen. A runny nose is a very irritating condition that attacks everyone indiscriminately. Sinus is a condition that leaves the person who has been affected by it to develop sneezes and a runny nose. The easiest thing to do when you have a runny nose is to try to remove the irritating mucus in the nose. You should blow your nose hard and you will find that you feel better.    Although this may sound funny, it has been discovered that eating spicy food generally helps. So you should gorge on all the food that you have forbidden yourself.  Some people find that using some water into which salt has been added as a nasal drop helps in removing all the congestion and leaves you free of the mucous. Inhaling steam is another beneficial remedy. Even plain water that has been boiled or simply heated till it releases steam can be used. Adding a few drops of eucalyptus oil to the water gives you a great relief.

You should also consult your doctor about the actual reason for this runny nose.
