Symptoms of Brain Cancer



Some brain tumors, such as those of the pituitary gland, do not always trigger symptoms. Other brain tumors may lead to non-specific symptoms. Therefore the only way to be sure is to undergo diagnostic screening. In some cases, early symptoms may occur when the tumor exerts pressure on the brain, due to the tumor itself or due to the inflammation in surrounding areas. The following symptoms are known to occur due to a brain tumor:

  • Headaches
  • Weakness
  • Problems with coordination
  • Difficulty while walking
  • Seizures

There may also be other non-specific signs and symptoms such as;

Usually these symptoms occur gradually and often go unnoticed. However in some cases, the symptoms may be severe.
