Rheumatism is one kind of extremely advanced and progressively declining arthritis. It is a condition wherein the joints of the affected patient slowly lose all lubrication and start becoming gradually disfigured. There is no known cure for this disease, but there are several ways to retard its growth and try and control its spread. One of the best ways is to do Yoga everyday for at least 30 minutes, and maintain a controlled diet under medical supervision.
There are various reasons a person can get rheumatism. The most prominent one is usually heredity. It is very common for rheumatism to be passed down the generations, and this is mostly how it spreads. Another reason is also rheumatic fever, a side effect of which is development of full blown rheumatism. Along with these two reasons, it is also possible to develop rheumatism if you have grossly neglected your arthritic condition for a long period of time. This leads to certain kinds of toxins collecting in your body, which can lead to the formation of rheumatoid arthritis. One of the contributing factors, rather than the cause of the disease is also a highly stressful life. If you are under mental pressure for most part, the condition can be irrevocably aggravated.
